Fish species composition for selected rivers in western Uganda DataSet Details
Description:
This dataset presents the occurrence records of fish species collected in selected rivers in western Uganda. The fish were mostly collected during surveys conducted as part of Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) associated with development projects such as hydro-electric dams operated or planned along the rivers.
Purpose:
This dataset covers rivers in Uganda including Murchison Nile, Ndugutu, Sindlira, Ssebwe, Mubuku, and Nyamwamba, and can used as baseline for assessing impacts of infrastructural development projects such as dams
